MIR Celebrates Thank A Resident Day

Within Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) and the broader medical community, residents and fellows are the backbone of health-care teams. They take on many responsibilities, often work long hours, and serve as invaluable resources to medical students learning about the various specialties.

Recognizing the importance of trainees, the Gold Humanism Honor Society began a nationwide effort in 2018 to encourage education programs to show their gratitude and appreciation on what they coined as Thank a Resident Day.

At MIR, our residents and fellows work side-by-side on a first-name with their attending colleagues. We recognize trainees’ invaluable contributions to our patients and organization, and we appreciate them on this Thank A Resident Day and every day.
