PRTC
Woodard Lab
The Woodard Lab uses cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and position emission tomography (PET) to understand cardiovascular diseases. A specific focus is the development and use of novel imaging agents to explore the mechanisms of atherosclerosis.
Our People
The lab, led by Pamela K. Woodard, MD, consists of multidisciplinary teams with excellence in radiology, cardiology, radiochemistry, biomedical engineering and vascular biology all working together towards a shared goal.
Projects
The goal of research in the Woodard Lab is to promote the understanding of cardiovascular diseases, precision cardiovascular imaging, and the translation of new imaging agents and methods into people.
