No other radiology group is better equipped or trained to interpret mammograms.
The breast imaging section provides comprehensive, breast imaging services by a team of radiologists with unmatched expertise in the St. Louis metropolitan region. Our radiologists are national leaders, award-winning teachers and compassionate physicians. Each physician is board-certified with a subspecialty in breast imaging and all our technologists are women.
We provide mammography (screening and diagnostic), tomosynthesis (3D mammography), breast ultrasound, breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as well as image-guided biopsies and needle localizations. Our most specialized exams and procedures are available at the Joanne Knight Breast Health Center located at the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine. But we also have satellite locations that offer mammograms. Some offer more services. We also have a mobile mammography van. Our equipment is among the most advanced anywhere, and our images are all digital. That means better images and a more accurate diagnosis.
Schedule your mammogram by calling any of our locations, through our request-an-appointment link or by using the Siteman Cancer Center online scheduling depot. A physician’s order is not required for a screening mammogram, however, patients do need to identify a physician to receive their report.
