Mellnick Receives RSNA Lifetime Honored Educator Award

Vincent M. Mellnick, MD, professor of radiology and chief of abdominal imaging for Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, received a Lifetime Honored Educator Award from the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).

Mellnick, who also co-directs the emergency radiology service, is a dedicated educator. His work to expand radiology education has been recognized with multiple awards from MIR, the School of Medicine and RSNA.

Only RSNA members who earn three Honored Educator Awards are eligible for consideration to receive the Lifetime Honored Educator Award upon a fourth nomination; Mellnick received the award in 2016, 2018, 2021 and 2022.
