The CCIR, located in the West Pavilion of Barnes-Jewish Hospital, provides a full range of biomedical imaging services.
Imaging Study Support
The CCIR provides a variety of research support for imaging studies.
Pre-Study Services
The CCIR provides the assistance required to set up and implement imaging studies. In addition, we will provide the necessary orientation and training for using the resources, databases and software programs. The pre-study services include:
- Protocol development and design
- Establishing a basic QC process for a research study
- Evaluating and/or helping test data analysis solutions
Scanners & Schedules
You can schedule a research subject for an approved protocol in the CCIR. To view a calendar, please select one of the scanners listed below for the imaging modality you wish to examine.
IT Management
The image data archiving services for research conducted in the CCIR are provided by the Central Neuroimaging Data Archive (CNDA).

Study Costs
Costs for MRI, PET-CT, and PET-MR scanning services in the CCIR are hourly and based on governmental and industry rates, depending on the nature of funding mechanisms.
