NeuroAI Laboratory

The Chand Lab, also known as the Neuroimaging Informatics and Artificial Intelligence (NeuroAI) Laboratory develops innovative computational analytical methodologies for studying brain health and neuropsychiatric and neurological disorders such as schizophrenia and Alzheimer’s. The lab employs AI and multimodal neuroimaging — including PET, MRI/fMRI, and EEG — as well as behavioral, clinical and genetic approaches for designing predictive models, identifying disease heterogeneity dimensions and facilitating precision medicine.

Our People

The lab, led by Ganesh Chand, PhD, leverages a multidisciplinary team approach with a research focus in developing novel computational methodologies, optimally quantifying multimodal neuroimaging and non-imaging big data, understanding neurobiological mechanisms in neuropsychiatric and neurological disorders and improving diagnostics, prognostics and personalized medicine efforts for these disorders.

Projects

Research in the Chand Lab includes characterizing the heterogeneity of neuropsychiatric and neurological disorders using AI, machine learning, multimodal neuroimaging and non-imaging techniques, as well as improving computational models for clinical applications.
