New Class of Residents, Fellows Welcomed at Annual Luncheon

Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) leadership, faculty and staff welcomed the new class of radiology residents and fellows at the annual luncheon in the Eric P. Newman Education Center (EPNEC). The luncheon is an opportunity for the trainees to form new relationships with their peers and mentors that will shape their time at MIR.

Several leaders of MIR’s educational programming were in attendance to welcome these bright trainees to the department, including Pamela K. Woodard, MD, Elizabeth E. Mallinckrodt Professor of Radiology and director of MIR; Martin N. Reis, MD, associate professor of radiology and diagnostic radiology residency program director; Sanjeev Bhalla, MD, professor of radiology and vice chair for education; Robert C. McKinstry, MD, PhD, William R. Orthwein Jr. and Laura Rand Orthwein Professor of Radiology and senior vice chair and division director of diagnostic imaging; Demetrios (Jim) A. Raptis, MD, associate professor of radiology and associate director of the diagnostic radiology residency program; and Janice W. Semenkovich, MD, associate professor of radiology and chair of the radiology resident selection committee.
