Match Day 2023: 20 Trainees to Join MIR Radiology Residency Program

Twenty graduating medical students from across the country have matched with Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis to complete their radiology residency training. On Match Day — a much-anticipated annual national event —fourth-year medical students find out where they will be training for the next phase of their medical career journey.
The resident class, which will join MIR in 2024, consists of 18 diagnostic radiology residents and two integrated interventional radiology residents. After arriving at MIR, residents will spend the first three years rotating through MIR’s core curriculum, which intends to progressively build their competence and turn them into well-rounded radiologists in all areas of diagnostic radiology. They then have the opportunity to explore subspecialty training, teaching electives, research and more.
