Match Day 2022: MIR Welcomes Newly Matched Radiology Residents

Nineteen graduating medical students from across the country have matched with Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis to complete their radiology residency training. Match Day is a much-anticipated national event where fourth-year medical students find out where they will be training in the next phase of their medical career journey.

The resident class, which will join MIR in 2023, consists of 15 diagnostic radiology residents, two residents on the research track, and two integrated interventional radiology residents. After arriving at MIR, residents will spend the first three years rotating through MIR’s core curriculum, which intends to progressively build their competence and turn them into well-rounded radiologists in all areas of diagnostic radiology.
