Research Opportunities

We are currently actively looking for self-motivated students, postdoctoral researchers and medical trainees interested in computational breast imaging research and artificial intelligence.

Fully-funded PhD positions are available for candidates who are interested in computational imaging research and artificial intelligence, self-motivated and eager to make an impact in advancing breast cancer screening.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or master’s degree in engineering, applied mathematics, computer Science, bioinformatics or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and programming skills (at least in Python)
  • Fluent in written/spoken English
  • Skilled at presenting research accomplishments
  • Previous knowledge of basic machine learning principles and image processing (e.g. from undergraduate courses, projects or work experience) is desirable, but not essential.

Qualifications:

  • A PhD in the fields of biomedical engineering, applied mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering, bioinformatics or related fields
  • A record of accomplishments in medical image analysis, artificial intelligence and/or informatics
  • Training in deep learning and proficiency in Python.
  • Fluent in written/spoken English
  • Skilled at presenting research accomplishments
