I chose MIR because: Excellent training, collegiality and friendly working/learning environment, being able to learn from the leaders in their field, large alumni network

My favorite radiology sign: Luftsichel sign

What attracted me to radiology: Radiology incorporates all fields of medicine and challenges us to integrate knowledge across fields with the imaging findings we make to come up with a diagnosis.

My personal interests: Skiing, reading, gardening, eating desserts

My favorite website: Reddit

I'm excited about living in St. Louis because: Its friendly people and beautiful outdoors

Jobs I’ve held outside of medicine: Packer for a moving company, waitress, tutor, lab tech

Something most people don’t know about me: I first came to the U.S. as a foreign exchange student in high school and lived with a wonderful host family

My favorite quote: “And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.” - Haruki Murakami
