Cusworth, Mehrsheikh Join Clinical Faculty

Two WashU Medicine Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology alumni have joined the clinical faculty.

Brian M. Cusworth, MD, joins the musculoskeletal imaging section as an assistant professor. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency and a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging and interventions at MIR.

Cusworth earned his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Harvard University. While earning his medical degree from WashU Medicine, he also worked in research positions in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Department of Surgery.

Amanda L. Mehrsheikh, MD, joins the abdominal imaging section as an assistant professor. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency and an advanced abdominal imaging fellowship at MIR. She is the recipient of an RSNA Cum Laude Award for an educational exhibit.

Mehrsheikh earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo, where she was a member of their chapter’s Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Northwestern University where she received academic All-Big Ten honors as a softball team member.
