A new imaging agent that may identify artery-clogging plaque in people at risk for heart attacks and strokes was developed at Washington University and the University of California (Santa Barbara), in collaboration with Texas A&M University. MIR professor Pamela K. Woodard, MD, led the multi-university team effort.
