The Bastiaannet Lab develops advanced radiopharmaceutical therapies (RPT) to improve cancer treatment, with a focus on addressing metastatic and late-stage disease. We specialize in alpha-emitter RPT, microscale dosimetry and high-resolution imaging to investigate how radiation interacts with the tumor microenvironment and to uncover the mechanisms of tissue response to therapy — insights that can be leveraged to enhance therapeutic efficacy through combination strategies.
