Thank A Resident Day 2024

At Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, residents and fellows are integral to the patient care team, working side-by-side with attending colleagues to serve their community. In addition to their own rigorous training journey, residents and fellows spend time aiding in the education of medical students interested in the field of radiology.

Recognizing the importance of trainees, the Gold Humanism Honor Society began a nationwide effort in 2018 to encourage education programs to show their gratitude and appreciation on what they coined as Thank a Resident Day.

The contributions of MIR trainees are too vast to name, but we especially recognize them today on Thank A Resident Day.
