Raut Lab
The Raut Lab investigates the dynamic processes that organize brain-wide activity and its coordination with organismal physiology and behavior. To this end, we advance and apply computational and theoretical approaches to modern, large-scale neural, physiological and behavioral datasets from diverse experimental collaborators. Our goal is to build toward a holistic understanding of the brain as an integrated, continuously evolving system.

People
The lab, led by Ryan Raut, PhD, brings together a multidisciplinary team of computational and theoretical researchers dedicated to understanding the dynamic processes underlying healthy and perturbed brain function.
Projects
We develop and apply computational, data-driven, and dynamical techniques to high-dimensional, multimodal datasets to extract underlying organizing principles of complex brain activity and behavior under healthy and perturbed conditions.
