If you are currently participating in an MIR study, please see below for directions to our facilities.

The CCIR is housed in Barnes-Jewish Hospital South (Plaza Tower), which is located in St. Louis’ Central West End neighborhood, across from Forest Park.

Parking and Drop-Off Areas
You can park in the Barnes-Jewish Plaza Garage at 3 Barnes Jewish Hospital Plaza Drive. The covered pedestrian bridge connects the garage to the main lobby. Valet parking and participant drop-off areas are directly in front of the Barnes-Jewish Hospital West Pavilion building (north side of Barnes-Jewish Hospital Plaza). In many cases, garage or valet parking fees are reimbursed for participants in research studies. Contact your study coordinator for details.

Campus Wayfinding
Once you arrive in the main lobby, look for the Central/Express Elevators. Take the express elevators to the 10th floor. The CCIR lobby is to the left immediately after stepping off the elevators. Medical campus maps in multiple language options are available here.

The East Building MRI Facility at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology is located in St. Louis’ Central West End, one block west of Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

Parking
Reserved spaces are available in the lots directly across from MIR on Scott Ave. and at The Mind Body Building across from MIR on S. Taylor Ave. Please ONLY use the spaces marked Reserved for Radiology Research Patients. Be sure to place your research parking permit on the dashboard before leaving your vehicle.

Campus Wayfinding
Please use marked crosswalks to access the building at 4525 Scott Ave. From the main entrance, turn right and go through the double glass doors. Your coordinator will meet you in the lobby. Medical campus maps in multiple language options are available here.
