MIR Welcomes 2022 Fellowship Matches

Forty-six radiology trainees are taking the next step of their medical career journey by training with Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis for their subspecialty fellowships. Fellows will have the opportunity to receive intensive training, teach residents and medical students, consult with clinical colleagues, conduct conferences and attend subspecialty meetings. Collaboration and mentorship are also vital components of fellows’ training, and they’ll work alongside world-class radiologists in their section.

The fellowship class consists of seven advanced abdominal imaging fellows, four breast imaging fellows, two cardiothoracic imaging fellows, four independent interventional radiology fellows, two integrated interventional radiology fellows, six musculoskeletal imaging and interventions fellows, 10 neuroradiology fellows, two neurointerventional radiology fellows, six nuclear medicine fellows and three pediatric imaging fellows.
