MIR Faculty Named Distinguished Researchers

Hongyu An, PhD, professor of radiology, Yuan-Chuan Tai, PhD, associate professor of radiology, and Dean F. Wong, MD, PhD, professor of radiology, have been named Distinguished Investigators of the Academy for Radiology & Biomedical Imaging Research. This award honors those who’ve made outstanding contributions to medical imaging.

Established in 2012, this award celebrates excellence in academic imaging research, especially those who achieved scientific excellence while still being involved in clinical care. Award recipients become members of the Council of Distinguished Investigators of the Academy.

The award was presented at a ceremony held during the annual RSNA meeting in Chicago.
