Mazaheri Selected for Early Career Lecture Exchange Program

Parisa Mazaheri, MD, assistant professor of radiology in the neuroradiology section at Mallinckrodt Insitute of Radiology (MIR), has been selected to join the Early Career Lecture Exchange Program’s 2024-2025 cohort. A joint effort of the Association of Academic Radiology and the Association of Program Directors in Radiology, this year-long program is designed for early-career radiologists to enhance their professional development while connecting with leading academic institutions across the United States.
Mazaheri matched with Emory University in Atlanta. Participants have a unique platform to deliver invited lectureships at their matched institution, fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge exchange and professional growth. This partnership will facilitate the presentation of her work, offering an opportunity to receive feedback from experienced mentors that is essential for her ongoing professional development.
Requested lecture topics are broad, including all areas of clinical radiology as well as a range of non-clinical topics, such as wellness, public health, healthcare disparities, hospital management and quality and safety.
