Tu and Perlmutter Receive $3 Million for PET Tracer Research

Longtime collaborators Zhude (Will) Tu, PhD, and Joel S. Perlmutter, MD, were awarded $3 million over five years to investigate the use of PET and radiotracer [11C]CS1P1 to quantify neuroinflammation in Parkinson’s disease. Tu, serves as co-director of the PET-RTRC, and Perlmutter’s work focuses on biomarker discovery and the pathophysiology of PD, dystonia and related conditions
