Zhude (Will) Tu, PhD, is a professor of radiology and the director of the Precision Radiotheranostics Translation Center (PRTC) for Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. The PRTC develops and applies molecular imaging agents, therapeutics and technology to improve the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Tu’s lab identifies key biomarkers in CNS disorders, inflammation and other disease processes, then synthesize and screen candidate ligands for PET imaging for translational first-in-human and proof–of–concept imaging studies. He received his doctorate degree from Beijing Normal University.

Research Interests

PET radiopharmaceuticals development and validation, quantifying central nervous system receptors, enzymes and transporters
