Benzinger Lab Shares Updates at ADRC Participant Meeting

Members of the Benzinger Lab participated in the Knight Alzheimer Disease Research Center’s (ADRC) Participant Meeting, an annual meeting for research volunteers and study partners to discuss the current state of research at the center. The purpose of the meeting is to show appreciation for the volunteers’ contributions to the university’s research, communicate interesting results of that research to which they’ve contributed and introduce new research initiatives. About 400 ADRC participants attend each year.

The Benzinger Lab uses novel PET and MRI images to investigate biomarkers in aging and very early neurodegenerative diseases and serves as the imaging core for the ADRC.
