Describe a teachable med school moment: Learning about spaced repetition (i.e. Anki) for the first time and seeing its awesome power for long-term retention of granular information (e.g. remembering specific MS1 biochemistry material 2 years later on clerkships)
Why did you choose MIR: Outstanding clinical education in radiology and strong referring departments in medicine and surgery
What is your favorite radiology sign: Still learning them, but the bear paw sign of xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis
What are your personal interests: (hobbies, sports, hidden talents, etc.)): Playing guitar and jamming with musicians of any genre, cooking, reading nonfiction, and lifting weights
Name your favorite go-to meal: Roasted vegetables with sea salt and balsamic vinegar
You’re excited about living in St. Louis because: Tons to do with free entry and easy parking, even during peak hours!
What is something most people don’t know about you: I majored in philosophy and published a paper in an artificial intelligence journal.
