Vikas Prasad, MD, PhD, is an associate professor of radiology for Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine of St. Louis. His research is in the field of theranostics, particularly neuroendocrine neoplasms. Prasad earned his medical degree from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore. He completed two nuclear medicine residencies at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, and Bentralklinik Bad Berka and his doctoral and postdoctoral training at Charite University Hospital, Berlin, and the Institute for Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences, New Delhi.
