Marek LabScott Marek, PhD, is an assistant professor of radiology and a principal investigator within the Neuroimaging Labs Research Center at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR). As a pediatric neuroimaging investigator, Marek's research primarily involves applying innovative neuroimaging on single individuals and big data approaches to understanding and eventually treating the neurodevelopmental processes that contribute to the emergence of psychiatric illness during adolescence.
Marek earned his doctorate in neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh and his bachelor of science in psychology from John Carroll University.
