Madison C. Clewis, MD

Diagnostic Radiology Resident

Graduation Year:
2029

My hometown: Houston, Texas
My teachable medical school moment: Being the first person that a patient felt comfortable telling about an incredibly vulnerable and personal experience - it made me realize and appreciate the level of trust patients have in us as physicians and reminded me to never take that lightly.
Why I chose MIR: I want to be the best radiologist that I am capable of being, and Mallinckrodt trains world-class radiologists!
My personal interests: Reading thriller novels, watching baseball, shopping (for anything and everything), enjoying great food and wine with friends
My favorite go-to meal: Poké bowls
Why I’m excited about living in St. Louis: I've never lived outside of Texas before - I'm excited for a big change! Not to mention, Forest Park is stunning and has so many fun things to do and see, and it's right outside our front door.
Something most people don’t know about me: I'm a singer - I was in choir all through grade school and sang in the Texas All-State choir, and I was in an a cappella group all four years of college. Music is one of my biggest passions to this day!
Anything else you should know about me: I adopted a street cat during my first year in medical school - his name is Tiger, and he's been my best friend ever since.
