Liam N. Locke, MD
Diagnostic Radiology Resident
Graduation Year:
2030My hometown: Basalt, Colorado
My teachable medical school moment: Approach every clinical encounter with the utmost kindness and patience. Another day in the hospital for you may be one of the worst days for a patient or their family.
Why I chose MIR: I was able to rotate at MIR as a medical student subintern through the Diagnostic Radiology Advanced Clinical Rotation. I was impressed by the quality of the educational experience, including the twice-daily conferences and the excellent instruction in the reading rooms by experts in radiology. The diversity of interests and experiences among both the residents and faculty helps create a stimulating academic environment.
My personal interests: Hiking, running, skiing, golf
My favorite go-to meal: A good burger
Why I’m excited about living in St. Louis: I'm looking forward to trying new restaurants and exploring new spots in Forest Park. My fiancée and I have been in St. Louis for the past year, so it already feels like home.
Something most people don’t know about me: I used to be a competitive big mountain skier.
Anything else you should know about me: My family has a tradition of making eggs Benedict on Christmas morning, and I can make a half-decent hollandaise sauce.
