Nuclear MedicineChristopher A. Swingle, DO, is an assistant professor of radiology in the nuclear medicine section at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. His clinical interests include positron emission tomography (PET), radioiodine therapy and nuclear medicine.
Swingle served as the 2022-2023 president of the Missouri Radiological Society, the 2018-2019 president of the Saint Louis Metropolitan American College of Radiology and a delegate from the St. Louis district to the Missouri State Medical Association. He volunteers as a physician advisor for MEDLaunch, the student-run business incubator at Saint Louis University.
Swingle earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Kansas City University followed by a nuclear medicine residency and a PET fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. He is currently completing the executive master of business administration program at Washington University in St. Louis’s Olin Business School.
