Family-Friendly Fun

St. Louis offers an abundance of family-friendly things to see and do for kids and kids at heart. Maybe that’s why TIME for Kids named it one of the World’s 50 Coolest Places.

The City Museum isn’t your run-of-the-mill museum. This 10-story, 600,000 square-foot warehouse was created from reclaimed architectural and industrial objects. It features a rooftop Ferris wheel, giant slinky and working shoelace factory among its exhibits.

No visit to St. Louis is complete without a ride to the top of the fabulous Gateway Arch. At 630-feet high and 630-feet wide at its base, this landmark can be seen for miles from both sides of the Mississippi River.

The Missouri Botanical Garden is a world-renowned, 79-acre oasis featuring a Japanese strolling garden, geodesic dome conservatory and sprawling, hands-on children’s garden.

All aboard for a splashin’ good time at the St. Louis Aquarium. Explore the underwater world and interact with 13,000+ sea animals.

New additions to St. Louis Union Station, a national historic landmark, include a 200-foot Ferris wheel featuring 42 gondolas, a stunning new aquarium and multiple 3D light shows.

Consistently rated one of the top family attractions in the U.S., The Magic House children’s museum boasts more than 55,000 square feet of interactive exhibits.
