Baking for a Cause: MIR Giving Project Benefits Local Families

The MIR Giving Project added a sprinkle of joy to the holiday season with its annual charity bake sale. Organized by residents, this tradition is all about giving back to local families in need. Tables were filled with an assortment of homemade treats, generously donated by volunteer bakers from across the department.

Proceeds from the event benefit the 100 Neediest Cases initiative — a St. Louis tradition since 1922 that provides critical assistance to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship during the holidays. Thanks to this effort, local children, families and seniors will have access to essential items during a time when support matters most.
