4 Radiologists Join MIR
Four new physicians have joined WashU Medicine Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR), lending their medical expertise to the department’s patient care practice.

James B. Burke, MD, joins the community physician practice as a clinical assistant professor of radiology.
Burke completed a neuroradiology fellowship at MIR and his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine.

Paul A. DiCamillo, MD, PhD, joins the community physician practice. He previously worked at the University of Iowa.
DiCamillo was a fellow in musculoskeletal radiology at Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Cleveland Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine.

Janet H. Pollard, MD, joins the nuclear medicine division as an associate professor of radiology. She previously worked at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She has also served as the acting chief of nuclear medicine at the Iowa City VA Health Care System. She was honored as the Nuclear Medicine Educator of the Year by the Department of Radiology at the University of Iowa.
Pollard earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. She trained for her diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where she also completed an abdominal imaging fellowship and a nuclear medicine residency.

Markus G. Zei, MD, joins the community physician practice. He previously worked as a radiologist with Clinical Radiologists since 2021, after he finished his neuroradiology fellowship at MIR. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency at MIR.
Zei earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and his bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
