Şencan-Eğilmez Now Affiliated with Multiple WashU Organizations

Ikbal Şencan-Eğilmez, PhD, is now affiliated as a faculty member with the Hope Center for Neurological Disorders, Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Division of Biology & Biomedical Sciences’ Neurosciences Program.

The Hope Center brings together world-leading scientists and clinician scientists to collectively focus on mechanisms of neurodegeneration and neural repair. 

The Department of Biomedical Engineering seeks to provide a first-class engineering education that prepares students for a variety of careers and a cutting-edge graduate program that advances knowledge and technology with the goal to improve human well-being.

The Neurosciences Program in the Division of Biology & Biomedical Sciences boasts faculty from numerous departments who serve as advisers for thesis research and serve as teaching faculty in the neurosciences.
