PET-RTRC Presents at NIBIB National Technology Centers Webinar Series

El Fakhri, Pomper and Gropler

The National Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering (NIBIB) is hosting a new National Technology Centers (NCBIB) Webinar Series, which will kick off with molecular imaging technology centers, including MIR’s PET Radiotracer Translation and Resource Center (PET-RTRC). The webinar will take place Monday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. EST/1 p.m. CST.

Learn about the cutting-edge molecular imaging technologies being developed by NIBIB-funded P41 centers and the collaborating, service and training opportunities they offer.

The following three leaders will present information on their respective centers:

  • Georges El Fakhri, PhD (above left) from the Center for Molecular Imaging Technology & Translation (CMITT), Massachusetts General Hospital
  • Martin Pomper, MD, PhD (above center), from the Resource for Molecular Imaging Agents in Precision Medicine, Johns Hopkins Medicine
  • Robert Gropler, MD (above right), from the PET Radiotracer Translation and Resource Center (PET-RTRC), Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis

Behrouz Shabestari, PhD, director of the National Technology Centers Program, will provide a brief introduction; a Q&A session will follow the presentations. The event will be streamed live but will also be recorded and available on the NIBIB website after the event.

The webinar is open to public, but registration is required.
