Nelly Friedrichsen, PhD, has been named a scholar of the Charles F. and Joanne Knight Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center Research Education Component (ADRC REC). The long-term goal of the REC is to develop and support a diverse group of independent ADRD researchers by helping trainees to develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed as an independent Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias investigator.

The REC assists trainees with career development along the entire training continuum by leveraging national collaborative relationships as well as the rich research and training resources available at Washington University and provides resources and mentoring to all levels of trainees.
