Ting Y. Tao, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor of radiology at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Tao completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at MIR and a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Prior to joining faculty at MIR, Tao was an assistant professor and pediatric radiologist at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. While there, she served on the multidisciplinary trauma performance improvement and peer review committee and was also an MRI safety officer. Tao is director of MIR’s pediatric imaging fellowship program and an active member of several organizations, including the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society and the Society of Pediatric Radiology, where she serves on the cardiac imaging committee. She earned her bachelor’s, medical and doctoral degrees from the School of Medicine.
