Precision Radiotheranostics Translation CenterRemco Bastiaannet, PhD, is an assistant professor of radiology on the research track within the Precision Radiotheranostics Translation Center (PRTC). His current research involves quantitative nuclear image formation and the advancement of personalized dosimetry for radionuclide therapy. He has extensive experience in scientific computing, data analysis, medical imaging and signal processing.
Bastiaannet comes to us from the radiological physics division at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he worked as a research associate. He earned his doctorate in medical physics and nuclear medicine from the University Medical Center, Utrecht, Netherlands. He holds both a master’s and bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Twente in Enschede, Netherlands.
