Interventional RadiologyLeah A. Jensen, MD, is an assistant professor of radiology for WashU Medicine Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) in the interventional radiology section. Her clinical and academic interests span interventional oncology, vascular interventions, image-guided treatment of portal hypertension, biliary obstruction, uterine fibroids, pulmonary embolism, trauma and hemorrhage. Her scholarly work includes publications in neurology, molecular biology and interventional radiology, reflecting a strong commitment to both patient care and research.
Jensen is an alumna who recently completed an integrated interventional radiology residency at MIR and served as one of the 2025-2026 chief residents. She earned her medical degree from WashU Medicine.
Clinical Interests
Interventional oncology, image-guided minimally invasive therapy of primary and metastatic cancers of the kidney and liver using ablation, radioembolization, chemoembolization, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), cholangiocarcinoma, metastatic colorectal cancer, renal cell carcinoma, image-guided portal hypertension treatment, biliary obstruction, uterine fibroids, pulmonary embolism, trauma, hemorrhage.
