Kimberly N. Wiele, MD, is an associate professor of radiology at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She also serves as program director of the breast imaging fellowship. Wiele’s clinical interests include sonography, mammography, breast ultrasound, ultrasound-guided biopsy of the breast, stereotaxic breast biopsy, breast imaging and intervention, and magnetic resonance imaging of the breast. In 2017, Wiele was honored as a fellow of the American College of Radiology. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Radiological Society of North America, the Greater St. Louis Society of Radiologists and the Society of Breast Imaging. Wiele completed a diagnostic radiology residency and served as chief resident at St. Louis University. She earned her medical degree and bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
