Justin T. Dumrongkulraksa, MD

Diagnostic Radiology Resident

Graduation Year:
2026
My hometown: Snellville, GA My teachable medical school moment: It was my first day of clerkship. I round on my first patient, and I obtained that history with all the vigor of a junior medical student. Imagine my surprise when rounds start and stop outside the room next door and I realize this was supposed to be my patient. I sheepishly admitted my mix-up, but fortunately my attending was understanding and we had a good laugh about it later. Never be too hardheaded to admit to your mistakes, but don't be so critical you forget to laugh. I chose MIR because: Excellent clinical training delivered by friendly and humble faculty. My personal interests: PC gaming and history (especially Mediterranean) My favorite go-to meal: Pork carnitas street tacos I’m excited about living in St. Louis because: I get to live near an amazing park full of great (and free) things to do. Also toasted ravioli! Something most people don’t know about me: I spent two years in medical school learning archery Anything else you should know about me: I participate in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month)
