Jonathan C. Baker, MD, is a professor of radiology at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Baker completed both his residency in diagnostic radiology and a musculoskeletal fellowship at MIR. He was named chief resident in 2008 and Fellow of the Year the following year. His clinical areas of interest include musculoskeletal trauma, sports medicine, arthritis, bone and soft tissue tumors, musculoskeletal ultrasound, imaging-guided percutaneous procedures, peripheral nerve imaging and metabolic bone disease. Baker is director of MIR’s musculoskeletal imaging and interventions fellowship program and has received the Distinguished Teaching Award several times. He is also an active member of several organizations, including the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the International Skeletal Society and the Society of Skeletal Radiology. He earned his medical degree from the School of Medicine and his bachelor’s degree from Saint Louis University.
