Gloria J. Guzmán Pérez-Carrillo, MD, is an associate professor of radiology for Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Her areas of research interest include multiparametric advanced diffusion imaging techniques for the evaluation of brain and head and neck tumors. She was previously the director of the advanced neuroimaging service.

In 2020, Guzman was named the inaugural director of MIR’s Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice, formed with the central mission of ensuring an inclusive environment for faculty, staff, trainees and patients. She currently serves as one of MIR's equity champions in collaboration with WashU Medicine.

Guzman completed two fellowships at MIR — in neuroradiology and neuroradiology research. She did her radiology residency at West Virginia University in Morgantown and earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. Guzman received a master’s degree in radiology from the Universidad de Granada in Spain, a master's degree in public health and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Arizona in Tucson, and a bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
