aging and neurodegenerative disorders; evaluating regulation and functional reserve of brain metabolism, blood flow and aerobic glycolysis using PET and MR tomography in cognitively normal aging and neurodegenerative disorders; establishing metabolic markers of brain resilience to aging and Alzheimer’s disease; evaluating the relationship between brain metabolism and various biomarkers of aging, Alzheimer’s disease and vascular contributions to cognitive impairment and dementia
