PET-RTRC Faculty Mentor Summer Research Program Participants
For 10 weeks each year, WashU Medicine Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) offers undergraduate and graduate students a chance to learn the latest in radiological sciences during the Summer Research Program. Participants study various areas, from breast imaging to radiopharmaceutical development, and receive mentorship from members of MIR’s faculty.
To aid in this effort, members of the PET Radiotracer Translation and Research Center (PET-RTRC) supported and provided mentorship for two students in the program; Sebastian Horbulewicz was mentored by Yongjian Liu, PhD, and Natalie Thornton was mentored by Vijay Sharma, PhD.
