Sherwin Chiu, MD, is an assistant professor of radiology in the breast imaging section for Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Chiu completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, where he was chief resident from 2022–2023 and the 2021 Resident of the Year. In 2024, he received the Wendell Scott Award, which is given to the fellow presenting the best research abstract at the Society of Breast Imaging Annual Symposium.

Chiu earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. He also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Medicine.
