Joshua W. Osbun, MD

Joshua W. Osbun, MD, is an associate professor of radiology for Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Also an associate professor of neurosurgery and neurology, Osbun completed a neurological surgery residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, and a cerebrovascular and interventional neuroradiology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. Osbun’s clinical areas of interest include cerebrovascular surgery, interventional neuroradiology, aneurysm and vascular malformations, thrombectomy for stroke, carotid artery disease, MoyaMoya disease and skull base tumor surgery. His research interests include clinical outcome measures in the surgical, endovascular and medical treatment of cerebrovascular disease, and new device development and evaluation for use in interventional neuroangiography techniques. Osbun earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in College Station.
