We understand your workday is packed from start to finish with clinical responsibilities, and whether you are a junior or experienced faculty member, you have limited time to address the scientific aspects of your research endeavors. Though many have the vision necessary to improve the future of health and medicine, the process of running a clinical research study can be a daunting task. Even the most industrious physician is challenged to find study participants, coordinate detailed research protocols, and monitor patients while remaining engaged in the crucial tasks required to successfully conduct a valid clinical trial. But here at the Clinical Research Laboratory (CRL), physicians conducting clinical investigations can turn to a team who are well experienced in the technical and operational aspects of designing and executing a successful research protocol. Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology’s CRL is a full-service project coordination team whose mission is to assist in all steps of the research process in order to help bring your ideas to life. Throughout our history, we have assisted you in medical advances that improve healthcare and treat diseases and together ~ we are here to continue to assist you.
Physicians, nurses and other allied health professionals form a collegial team at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) and we value our relationships with our faculty and staff, as well as with our professional colleagues in the community. MIR Faculty are open to discussing potential research projects associated with specific research interest. If you are looking for a Radiology Collaborator, both basic scientists and clinicians are available in any of these interests. Notify Shelly Meese if looking for individuals associated with particular research interest.
We look forward to working with you!
