Center for Clinical Imaging Research (CCIR)

Is it right for me?

People participate in clinical trials for a number of reasons. Some are very personal. They are ill and want access to a novel or experimental imaging procedure or therapeutic agent that is only available through clinical trial. Some people participate for more global reasons: they want to help fight a particular disease or help advance science.

Before you participate in a clinical trial, we recommend you find out the following information:

  • What is the goal/purpose of this study?
  • How will my participation contribute to research or advance medicine?
  • What's expected of me and what is the time commitment?
  • Are their any risks associated with this study?
