Center for Clinical Imaging Research (CCIR)

The Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) Just-In-Time (JIT) Funding Program is designed to provide funding of pilot studies conducted in the CCIR. The MIR Facilities Pilot Fund Program has partnered with the Institute of Clinical and Translational Services (ICTS) JIT, and will fund up to $10,000 for projects in the CCIR.

The JIT program is designed to provide quick access to funding to use the ICTS Cores for research advancing medical knowledge that can improve human health. MIR matches the ICTS fund for projects that use the Human Imaging Unit (HIU), also known as the Center for Clinical Imaging Research (CCIR). This is a jointly funded "MIR-JIT" award project.

To apply for MIR-JIT funds, your project will undergo a scientific review by a MIR Facilities Fund review committee before the application goes to ICTS. The ICTS committee will also review the application before approving the funds for the project.

Please note that you may be eligible for a CTSA grant Just in Time (JIT) funding. For a JIT application, please click here.

In order to apply for MIR-JIT funds, you must complete both MIR and JIT applications.  Please note that once you have completed the JIT application, it must be uploaded to the MIR application website click here.
