The Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) and Just-In-Time (JIT) Funding Programs are designed to provide funding of pilot studies conducted in the CCIR. The MIR Facilities Pilot Fund Program has partnered with the Institute of Clinical and Translational Services (ICTS) JIT, and will fund up to $10,000 for projects in the CCIR.
The JIT program is designed to provide quick access to funding to use the ICTS Cores for research advancing medical knowledge that can improve human health. MIR matches the ICTS fund for projects that use the Clinical & Translational Imaging Unit (CTIU), also known as the CCIR. This is a jointly funded "MIR-JIT" award project.
To apply for MIR-JIT funds, your project will undergo a scientific review by a MIR Facilities Fund review committee before the application goes to ICTS. The ICTS committee will also review the application before approving the funds for the project.
In order to apply for MIR-JIT funds, you must complete both the MIR and JIT applications. You apply for the MIR funds first on the MIR application website here. Once it is approved by the MIR Committee you will need to complete the JIT application. To do this please click here. Once it is approved by the JIT committee they will send a confirmation note.
