Collaborative Projects:

Overall Philosophy on Collaborative Projects (CPs)

  • Provide a more comprehensive but streamlined pre-clinical evaluation of the radiotracers developed in each TR&D in order to shorten the translational timeline.
  • Provide the CPs with an opportunity to enhance their capabilities which allow them to perform work in their funded area they could not do without the Center’s help. Potential benefits to their research program include, access to PET radiotracer and imaging expertise perhaps not available at their institution, access to novel radiotracers to address new biologic questions and the ability to expand their research capabilities by gaining training and experience in using this new technology.
  • Achieving the vision to in essence recapitulate the PET radiotracer program here at WU and MIR on a national scale.
